Francisca Franco brings over 25 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. Her public accounting experience, which was obtained with both Big 4 and specialized CPA litigation consulting firms, includes over 20 years of forensic and litigation consulting experience. She has been designated accounting expert in numerous cases, providing testimony in arbitration, deposition and in court. Her private industry experience, including as Group Controller, has been obtained with both a Fortune 500 company and a middle-market Corporation.

Francisca is skilled in managing forensic and litigation engagements of various types and sizes. She has analyzed the technical accounting and auditing standards of major audit failure cases and determined if the transactions and/or financial reporting were in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”).  Ms. Franco has authored position papers regarding revenue and expense recognition guidance in connection with various assignments. 

Ms. Franco has also managed numerous corporate fraud investigation matters that involved analyzing fraudulent financial records, identifying fictitious entities, tracing asset acquisition and disposition, and tracing cash in fraudulent transactions.  She has managed large matters involving lost profits and has also performed business valuations and quality of earnings analyses.

In addition to having significant Fortune 500 finance and accounting experience, Francisca was also a member of a task force for two Fortune 500 companies forming joint ventures between distribution offices in Latin and South America. She assisted with the implementation of accounting processes for the joint ventures.  

As Group Controller for a major trade show and publication entity, she was responsible for the financial close process, strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions. She was also responsible for key analyses to determine if proposed business ventures were viable.
